Hello! I’m Bosco, and I currently work as a Senior Software Engineer @ Streetsmart remotely from Madrid, Spain. I also have 7**+ years of experience working in Tech** (mostly in Backend, but including AI Research to Web, Mobile, Data and even Technical Sales!).
I love Backend development, and mostly work with TypeScript + Node.js and Go at the moment, but I think tools, frameworks, languages, etc. are an implementation detail.
Fundamentals are king (à la manners maketh man¹), and I have a passion for diving deep into any tool I work with.
I’m an avid learner, and have a knack for building great products that both users and developers alike are in love with. I firmly believe listening to feedback and adding value in a timely manner need not come at the cost of quality and maintainability.
Tests, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, best practices and various other Design Patterns are some of the ways I ensure this.
I also love working with people, and have found out it’s what I do best: enabling teammates to do their best technical work, guiding them through hurdles and helping them push through barriers. From leading teams to working alongside colleagues who may be leagues ahead, I’ve learnt (and keep doing so) from great professionals and apply said learnings daily.
Feel free to browse around my work, or contact me to know more! 👐🏻

Why a Notion page and not a website?
I like to think pragmatism is a strong suit of mine. In this case I thought “why go through the hassle of building a complex website when a simple Notion page will do?”
Notion integrates nicely with my workflow since I use it for personal stuff as well, and has built-in search and tools I can use to organise content and make it more accessible, so it’s a win-win. People are also quite accustomed to it, and are more likely to know how to navigate it, and yet I can still ad a bit of flair to it as well, so it is good enough.
If I ever see the need or desire to play around with web frameworks, I’ll build something accordingly!
