I introduce myself as the dumbest in the team.

I was promoted for my people management skills, not just technical ones, so you should feel free to try to prove me wrong and always propose new ideas as I’m probably not be the best engineer here.

My job is to enable you to do your best work possible.

We fail as a team, we thrive as a team.

No deploying on Fridays - Unless extremely safe to do so.

Sprints end on Wednesdays.

No meetings past 17:00, and on Friday past 11:00 (assuming 9-5 schedule) - If colleagues really need one, I have to approve it first.

No BS work. Any interruptions or out-of-order requests to you go through me first, you continue doing your work.

I expect desire to learn and grow. Come to me for learning resource requests, mentoring or general advice.

“If you were the manager” exercise every 3-6 months with each direct report: if you were in my place, what would you do differently?
